Hello!

My name is Catarina and I'm passionate about everything in life. I studied Computer Science, but I have an infinite desire to learn.

I'm currently a Content Writer at Codacy, and I was a researcher at NOVA LINCS. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa in 2019. I was advised by Miguel Goulão and João Araújo.

During my Ph.D. journey, I was a Visiting Research Student at SEGAL Research Group, University of Victoria (Canada), working with Daniela Damian. I was also a Visiting Research Student at Bristol Cyber Security group, University of Bristol (United Kingdom), working with Awais Rashid and Ben Shreeve.

My interests include software engineering, software requirements, experimental software engineering, and software quality. I also love teaching about those topics!

Besides technology, I love travelling and learning about other cultures. I have a travel blog and podcast (both in Portuguese), Mundo Indefinido.
